Plastic Fine Mist Sprayer - Typically used in personal care and cleaning products, it provides a fine mist spray when the consumer distributes the product. Keep in mind that there are hundreds of unique designs that may require different components, and then we show them here, but the plastic sprayer supplier will give you a question about what makes the fine mist sprayer work and how it turns the liquid stream into a mist General concept.
These are the components that enter the fine mist sprayer:
Dust cover Dust cover: Usually made of PP plastic and usually produced in a transparent manner, the dust cover acts as a dust cover and a safety cap to protect the actuator from accumulation of dust and prevent accidental activation. To help the package stand out on the shelves, the dust cover can be stocked or custom color produced.
Actuator: Usually made of PP plastic, this is the part that the consumer pushes down to spray the product out of the bottle. Unlike actuators on emulsion pumps, actuators for fine mist sprayers have internal components, including inserts to create a particular spray pattern of the product being sprayed. Some fine mist sprayers have a locking function that prevents accidental dispensing.
Actuator InsertInsert: This tiny component consists of a passage through which the liquid flows to create a misty pattern. In many cases, the insert is adapted to the exterior of the actuator and it is the part of the product that leaves the spray applicator.
ClosureClosure: A component that holds the entire assembly to the bottle. It is usually made of PP plastic and can be coated with many finishes or designs - including ribbed edges, smooth, matte or glossy finishes. Metal casings may also be applied in some cases to further enhance the shelf appeal of the package. The assembly should have an industry standard neck surface such as 18-410, 20-410, 24-415, and the like.
Washer: The outer washer acts as a compressible seal that seals the cover to the land area of the bottle to prevent leakage. Depending on the product/chemical composition, different gasket materials are required, which are key components that must be tested to ensure compatibility. It can be customized with different materials such as BUNA, neoprene, plastic rubber, LDPE.
Mechanism components: usually composed of many components, such as pistons, housing covers, valve stems, springs, seals and the entire outer casing, which are the components that transfer the product from the inside of the bottle to the actuator. Typically, the spring compression as an actuator is pressed down, pulling the product through the dip tube into the interior of the housing. Subsequent actuation pumps the liquid up through the piston toward the actuator and exits the pump via the actuator insert. The components of the components vary from design to design, but the sprayer shown here consists of a piston, a valve stem, a spring, a seal mounted in the housing and a cover. The mechanism is then mounted to the closure and snapped together with the actuator to hold it in place. Some sprayer designs will place the metal springs in different positions to form a metal free path.
Dip Tube Dip Tube: A long, thin plastic tube that extends the range of the sprayer to the bottom of the bottle. Unlike the dip tube of a generally thicker lotion pump, the dip tube of the fine mist sprayer is often slightly curved to reach the bottom of the push-up area of the bottle and cut at a "V" shape or angle to avoid clogging. Fine mist sprayer output
The output of a fine mist sprayer is typically measured in mcl (microliters) or cc, typically in the range of between 0.12 and 0.18 cc.
